What is IPT?
Integrative Processing Technique (IPT):
A four-step healing method that uses behavioral kinesiology (muscle testing) and guided imagery to find and release unresolved emotions and trauma.
The Core Philosophy
Integrative Processing Technique (IPT) can uncover the root causes of emotional pain and provide a safe space for processing and healing. Through a gentle guided 4-step process we can access emotions trapped in the body and release what no longer serves us.
The 4-Step IPT Process
A supportive framework for understanding, processing, and releasing emotions
Identification
Using behavioral kinesiology (muscle testing), we work with your body's intelligence to identify the root cause of emotional blocks, limiting beliefs, or unresolved trauma. Your body knows what needs attention.
Processing
Through guided imagery, visualization, and gentle exploration, we process the identified issue. This may involve inner child work, role-playing, or other modalities tailored to your unique needs and comfort level.
Release
As the body processes the emotion or belief, we facilitate its release. This is often accompanied by a sense of relief, lightness, or emotional shift.
Integration
Integrate new insights, beliefs, and emotional patterns that serve you better. This creates lasting change and opens space for growth, healing, and new possibilities in your life.
What to Expect
Before Your Session
Take a few moments to reflect on what you'd like to work on and what blocks, patterns, or experiences you're ready to address. There's no need to prepare extensively; just come as you are.
During Your Session (60-90 minutes)
- • Opening (10-15 min): We'll discuss your goals and what you'd like to address
- • IPT Process (40-60 min): Using kinesiology and guided processes, we'll work through the 4-step IPT method
- • Integration (10-15 min): We'll discuss what came up, insights gained, and next steps if needed
Sessions are gentle, client-led, and conducted at your pace. You're always in control and can pause or stop at any time.
After Your Session
Many clients experience immediate shifts, while others notice changes unfolding over the following days and weeks. Integration is a process. You may feel lighter, more clear, or experience a release of tension. Honor whatever arises. Follow-up support via email is available as needed.

How IPT Differs from Traditional Therapy
IPT is not traditional therapy or clinical treatment. It is a complementary healing modality that can be used independently or in tandem with traditional therapy/counseling.
Traditional Therapy
- • Talk-based, cognitive approach
- • Requires licensing/credentials
- • Can diagnose mental health conditions
- • Often insurance-covered
- • Long-term treatment plans
IPT Sessions
- • Body-based, somatic approach
- • Requires facilitator certification
- • Emotional wellness support, not diagnosis
- • Private pay
- • Often single or short-term sessions
If you're experiencing a mental health crisis or need clinical treatment, please seek appropriate licensed professional help.
